Welcome to our last week of the OEEEP program as we head into the final units of the course. Make sure you block time to finish all your units, completing all the quizzes, so you can get your Certificate of Completion (mandatory) and then you can get on with the next steps of your employment in the equine industry by working with VPI and OHHA to set yourself up for a successful start.

While some of you were reticent to ask questions and become involved in discussions, know that this will be a very important part of becoming an essential employee of the industry and building a long-term career, as that is how we grow and learn!  If you don’t ask the question, you lose your opportunity to learn!

No matter how long you have been in the horse industry, there is always more to learn!  Every week, there are new developments in horse health, welfare, behaviour, learning cognition and so much more.  If you are dedicated to being a great contributor in the horse industry, developing a solid learning base and learning pathway are two ways to make a difference to your career and for the horses in your care.
